photo: ed neumannBio:  Ed came to Automated Graphic Systems in October of 1996 with an MBA in Marketing from George Washington University. He has impressively held positions at AGS including Director of Pre-Press and Technical Representative for the Electronic Products Department. Ed was most recently the National Director of Electronic Product Development for AGS's parent company, Consolidated Graphics. Before coming to AGS, Ed has worked in various aspects of the printing and packaging industry for over twenty years. He was a charter member of the SGML Open in 1994, member of CALS-SIG from 1992 through 1998. While at AGS, Ed was a charter member and Treasurer of the Open eBook Forum from 1999 through 2001. He has also been a featured speaker at conferences including Booktech (East and West), The Miles 33 Users Group, and Seybold Seminars. When he's not hard at work, Ed enjoys traveling, home repairs, and spending time with his wife Susan, and two children, Jonathan and Lisa. Jonathan is working on his Doctorate at the University of Maryland and Lisa is a Fifth Grade teacher.
