This privacy statement provides details concernng the information gathering and dissemination practices of the XPLOR MidAtlantic Region in regard to your personal data.

The site's Contact Information Form asks members to provide contact and other personal information (including their name, email address, company name, and special professional interests). The information gathered on this page is made publically available on our Member listing page. See below for update and 'opt out' instructions.

The site's Meeting Registration Form asks members to provide contact and other personal information (including their name, email address, company name, badge designations, mailing address, FAX, and attendance plans). This information is used only for meeting registration and planning tasks for the specific meeting for which you are registering.

This site contains links to other sites. The XPLOR MidAtlantic Region is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of those Web sites.

Behind the scenes

The site logs your IP address for system administration purposes which includes administering the Web site, helping to diagnose server problems, and tracking which parts of the site users are visiting. Your IP address is not linked to any personally identifiable data.

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information. If you feel that your personal information has been altered or misrepresented, please contact our WebMaster, Michael Botos at mbotos@botos.com.

Choice/Opt-Out

This site gives users the following options for removing their personal information from the database.

1. Members are not required to complete the Contact Information Form and can thus opt-out of having any of their personal information posted on the website.
2. Members have E-mail and FAX meeting registration alternatives if they prefer not to provide their personal information over the Internet.

Correct/Update

1. Members who have submitted previous information via the Contact Information Form can correct or update it at any time by providing new information via the same form. Alternately they can E-mail mbotos@botos.com with details of any necessary changes, inlcuding the complete removal of their information.
2. Updates to meeting registration information should be conducted via E-mail to the meeting registrar.
