Sandy Wright, edp
The computer industry came by accident to Sandy some years ago. She wanted only to earn enough money to go back to school full time. After her first encounter with a computer, she found that it was the challenge of solving the puzzles of programming that she really enjoyed. This has been the key for her entire career.
Professionally she had used this love of solving problems to develop and implement systems in many different areas that range from resource tracking, water treatment testing, accounting, media research, statement presentation and many more.
When she was approached by her management in 1981 to add programming of a new electronic printer they had just acquired as another task in her job, she had no idea the effect this would have on her future. This was when she met her first Xerox 9700. She then became involved in with Xplor in 1983 as one of the only sources of networking and information in this field. Since this time, she has held many different positions in the Region including President. She is currently the Secretary.
Sandy now heads her own consulting company, Wright’s WorldWide, assisting small agencies and companies write proposals for statement outsourcing.
Sandy received her Electronic Document Professional (EDP) certification in 1992 and re-certified in 1998 and 2003.
