Kemrey Heinold

I was born and raised in Leominster, Massachusetts. My parents soaked my brother and me with love, humor and a sense of independence. After graduating from Leominster High School in 2000 I wanted out of the snow. I trekked to Clemson, South Carolina where I was exposed to a new culture, a great education and lots of good times.

While attending school I studied Graphic Communications. I found that the technical study with an artistic twist was very stimulating. I also dabbled in Packaging Science, loved it and ended up with a minor. Along with my studies I joined TAGA (Technical Association for Graphic Arts) and held the Public Relations Chair my senior year. I always had time in my schedule for random classes like forestry and entomology just for the experience. After 2 internships in customer service, one at Vertis and another at Cadmus Communications, and armed with a degree, I felt that the DC metro area was ready for me. I moved to DC in June 2005, not knowing a soul, paying my own way and starting a brand new job at OmniPrint, Inc. as a sales representative. OmniPrint, Inc. has put me in charge of becoming a government print vendor along with expanding some of our commercial printing endeavors. So far things are great. I try to keep busy as a member of Xplor, Franklin Technical Society, and have been introduced to FEDS. As a new comer to the printing industry and DC, I only hope to expand myself and my career. Washington, DC offers a wealth of good things to come and I can't wait to see where the journey takes me!
