Diana Hillman has been involved in the electronic printing business since 1975 when first introduced to the world of Xerox electronic printing with the Xerox 1200. This began her 15 years in the service bureau business followed by a move to Xerox in 1990, her current employer. The roles and responsibilities have varied over the years. They include all facets of operations, application programming, technical support, sales, and sales support. Currently employed by Xerox Special Information Systems (XSIS) as Regional Engineering Manager, responsibilities include analysis of customer requirements and development of custom solutions. The XSIS group expands the functionality of standard Xerox high-end products through hardware and software modifications to meet unique customer requirements. The Mid-Atlantic and Northeast geographic territory covered includes Maryland, Virginia, DC, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York.

After many years of working full time and going to school part time (and staying involved with Xplor), Diana completed her Master's/Business of Information Systems in 2005 with a 4.0 GPA. Involvement in Xplor goes back many years; the meetings were no more than 15 people and the annual conference was held in a single hotel - presentations, exhibits, and accommodations. Although involvement with Xplor was somewhat limited for years because of vendor membership, Diana maintained continuous involvement in Xplor, both at the regional and Global levels. Contributions to the Xplor community include participation as chairperson and speaker at nearly every Global Conference, and for 8 years, involvement with the EDP Certification Program as the Chair, commissioner, or evaluation panel. Formal involvement at the regional level includes Meeting Coordinator, Membership Coordinator, more recently and Treasurer since 2002, and informally, always part of the extended board. Diana received her EDP with the class of 1992 and recertified in 1998 and 2003. She is the first Xerox employee to receive her EDP Certification.

Knowledge, experience, and networking (KEN) - this is what Xplor is all about.
KEN - you have it, get it or share it with Xplor involvement.
