Well paced and interesting day. Want copies of presentations. Fine location for meeting, all presenters were very good. Very good information once again, very helpful. One of the better meeting setups. Very impressed by limited sales pitch in. Could GPO host a meeting or offer tour? A comment on GPO - wanted specifics on how they did things. Excellent 2 day meeting once again. Good Information.
These are just SOME of the comments we received regarding the meeting held at the Heritage Hills Conference Center in York, Pennsylvania on April 29 and 30...
I am never disappointed in the MidAtlantic Regional Meetings. This one turned out very well. There were more then 50 attendees, and the sessions and exhibits were fantastic. The list of attendees has been posted to the MidAtlantic Web Site--http://regions.xplor.org/midatlantic/April2004/AttendeeList.pdf.
There was a Board meeting on Wednesday, April 28, and a general meeting on April 29, and some things of note should be made regarding them. Then we kicked off a full day and a half of interesting speakers and networking extraordinaire.
The agenda that is posted on the web site prior to meetings will no longer show the times. Instead we will list the speakers, the topics, and the exhibitors.
Wilma Grant, President of the MidAtlantic Region, kicked off the meeting at 8:43 AM. In the general announcements were the congratulations to the Region's newest EDP's - Dee Roche and Angie Winn. Bob Wert then gave information about the upcoming elections. Tim Coleman, EDP, discussed ideas on future panel discussions. Then we started our sessions.
